I have been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2005. I furthered my studies in Clinical Massage Therapy and acquired an Associates in the Applied Science of Therapeutic Massage: Clinical Studes in 2006.  I also interned at Health Quest, a division of Johnson Memorial Hospital, in Smithfield NC. In 2010, I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill and have since been a licensed Esthetician.

I have worked extensively in both medical and spa settings and am now available full-time by appointment within my private office at Democko Chiropractic.

It is truly rewarding to be able to mitigate various ailments such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain, pseudo-sciatica (nerve entrapment), carpal tunnel, and persistent migraines among many other conditions. I have worked with clients from conception until their final term of pregnancy and I am not afraid to use mindful pressure during pregnancy massage. I am aware that this is, in fact, a time during a woman's life that she may need more pressure than usual!

I am thorough, thoughtful, professional and patient... and many clients love me because I am not afraid to use pressure when asked for!

Realizing the epidemic that pain medication has become in recent years it motivates me to offer a natural alternative through therapeutic massage. I believe in working with your body's pain threshold and not against it, thus I will not apply maximum deep-tissue pressure on a person who has never received a massage before! I always encourage my clients to communicate their goals and needs before every massage.

It is important to me to provide you with the massage experience You want. As an example, if you prefer a quiet massage with minimal talking, I am more than happy to accommodate! The cornerstone of my practice is that my massages are completely customized for each and every individual based on their body's current condition and needs. I do not believe in a "one size fits all approach," or a "routine."  It is my intention to have my massages evolve with my client's progress. It is ever inspiring to witness continuous results with my clients! 

I also want to Thank each and every one! of my existing clients for continuing to evolve with me over the years. I am honored and enriched by your continued support and also the support of the fabulous Democko Chiropractic doctors and staff.

You do not have to be a patient at Democko Chiropractic to receive massage therapy with me. I am accepting new clients and am available by appointment only, 6 days a week.  Simply call 919 922 7682 and we can set up a time and date that works. I am available for evening and weekend appointments as scheduled. I look forward to meeting and working with you!!
